Meet Jamie and Josh; they’re the co-owners of 1st Touch Football based in the Southside of Glasgow. From the get-go, the lively duo had big plans for growing the academy through a seamless customer experience and even better classes! And thanks to their hard work and dedication, the academy has gained over 200 new kids in recent weeks.
Turning passion into purpose
After studying at university and coaching part-time, Josh and Jamie had big plans for the future by taking all they knew about coaching and pushing the boundaries of success by setting up their own business. Striking the balance of previous experience and their own ethos has been key to the success of 1st Touch Football.
Building in core values, including enthusiasm and passion in classes, has been pivotal in helping the academy attract the right coaches. But for Josh and Jamie, success goes beyond just stating core values. It comes down to building a brand and customer experience that’s remembered and a place where kids enjoy their classes.

Dream job, nightmare processes
But with such a surge in demand for classes, day to day tasks became unmanageable. Paper registers were mounting, booking processes were clunky, and managing finances was a complete nightmare. And with such big plans for growth, Josh and Jamie decided to search for a new team player.

And with one eye on the future, they're using the ClassForKids system to help them reach their goals. Long term, the duo would like to push their brand throughout other areas of Scotland through franchising.
